Every year, a new player rises in each position and makes a name for themselves. Whether it is being top 5 in their most important statistical category or leading their team to a playoff spot, a new player will have a breakout year.

Second-year quarterback Caleb Williams is due for a great season. The offensive line unit has been improved greatly, and he has the receiving room to be a top passing leader next season. Showing flashes of his great arm talent and now bringing in a great offensive-minded head coach in Ben Johnson, Williams can have a great year compared to his rookie season and can even lead the Bears to a playoff spot.

The Chargers selecting Omarion Hampton with their first-round pick means that he will be heavily involved in their run offense. J.K. Dobbins was almost a top 20 rusher last year on only 13 games played, and coach Harbaugh has always loved using running backs in his offense. Najee Harris has always gotten 1000 yards in career, but doesn't have the explosiveness that Hampton can bring. He will be heavily included in this run offense, which will also give Herbert more room to operate on shorter downs and open up play-action calls.

For the Wide Receiver position, Ricky Pearsall will show why the Niners took him with their first-round pick last year. Throughout training camp, there was always news that Pearsall was standing out in 1-on-1 drills and in joint practices. With Brandon Aiyuk out until around week 6 or 7 and Jauan Jennings having contract issues, Pearsall will be the primary wide receiver. Brock Purdy seems to be better every year, and so has the connection between him and Pearsall. The 49ers offense has many weapons with Kittle and McCaffrey, so Pearsall won't be the only focus and can have a breakout second year.
