NBA Playoffs: Who will Come Out on Top?

Now that all the matchups have been completed, the obvious thing to do is predict who will win the NBA Finals. As a Warriors fan, my biased pick is them, although I don't think they have all the pieces to win it this year, you can never count out Steph and Jimmy.

I am a firm believer in the Celtics and I think they have what it takes to go back-to-back. They have two great playoff performers in Tatum and Brown who have continued to get them to at least the Eastern Conference Finals for three straight years. With the surrounding pieces of Porzingis, Holiday, Pritchard, White, Horford, and even great minutes from Kornet and Hauser, they have a complete roster to win it all. I think the Eastern Conference is also way weaker than the West, so it gives the winning team from the East more rest and they will most likely be banged up.

I have the Celtics beating the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals in 6 games and I think the Cavs amazing season will come to an end there. In the West, I believe the Lakers will make it out the West and beat the Thunder in the Conference Finals in 6 games. The Thunder are very complete and are the clear favorites to win the whole thing. However, having Luka and Lebron to rely on in the playoffs who are probably two of the best playoff risers in NBA history, is too hard to pick against. I love the Thunder and they have a roster to win the NBA finals, but I think a historic finals between the Lakers and Celtics will happen because Luka led his team to the finals last year, and now he has great pieces to do it again.
